HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SILK SCARF?

Our silk scarves are made of 100% silk, so there are some important points to remember when caring for your scarf. Dry clean only, do not hand wash or machine wash your silk scarf. Do not use chlorine bleach and do not put it in the dryer. Avoid drying silk in direct sunlight.

 

Take care of the silk around zippers and jewellery, and keep in mind that substances containing alcohol such as perfume/cologne can damage the silk. Silk wrinkles can be removed with humidity, so if need be you can hang your silk in the bathroom during a shower.

IKAT SCARF CARE

The Ikat scarves are 100% cotton and can be cold machine-washed and line dried. But because our scarves are hand dyed and woven, we recommend that you wash your scarf by hand using shampoo to ensure that the colour is preserved. Do not dry in direct sunlight.
